Interesting weather. Rain tomorrow. The Lower Sac has been very good over the past few days. Lots of PMD’s and caddis driving the feeding trout. Saw some huge fish today. Only one 22″ rainbow made it to the net while the others out fished us! Saw one that was on the better side of 23ish. Super aggressive fight put on by the fish. It’s okay with me if the fish win (They never really loose). My guests feel different though when that dream rainbow comes off and the expletives fly! This volatile weather can make one feel like the day (of fishing) is going to be tough, but not true really. Awkward conditions almost always surprise us with rewards and today was no exception. Tomorrow? Wind could take the fun out of the game. We will see.
